World Market- A foodie, wine snob and shop-a-holics dream

World Market is an absolute Mecca for foodies, wine snobs and shop-a-holics.  Where else can you find your favorite Riesling, along with Japanese cookies, and home furnishings all under one roof? I truly love this store!

I work in the DC metro area, and there is a World Market right in my building.

I often find myself ducking in the store before leaving work for the day in order to buy wine, to go with dinner, or well dinner.

The store offers a vast array of pasta’s, sauces, and wines from around the world and while you’re there you can furnish your entire house- seriously.

Here are a few of my favorite items:

Tonight I made macaroni and cheese with crab meat and my husband declared that it was definitely the bomb.

I will be posting this recipe shortly; In the meantime what’s your ‘secret’ ingredient to making a mac and cheese that’s sure to have your guests exclaiming you put your foot in it!

Welcome to Put My Foot In It!  Have you ever tasted a dish that left you smacking your lips and practically doing a dance because it tasted so good? Well if you have, the cook ‘put their foot’ in the dish.  Put My Foot In It will be dedicated to sharing my families personal recipes, as well as restaurant reviews, product recommendations, and everything food related.

I am an all around foodie, and though I am not a professionally trained chef, I have been paid for my catering services.

I look forward to sharing my culinary delights with you.

Lisa
